Real Techniques Brush

Recently I added these beauty's to my brush collection... well, I say brush collection, there was only about 3 to start off with. I know, how did I cope! Well, since I've got these, I've noticed how much difference a good brush can make to the way makeup is applied and how it looks!

Expert Face Brush

This brush is the small one at the front, used for applying foundation. At first, before I bought this brush I was baffled as to why people would choose to buy it. I already had a foundation brush and in my mind I thought that was great, but I bought this one anyway seeing as so many people had been saying amazing things about it.. and I agree! This brush makes applying foundation so much easier as it doesn't leave smear lines like the foundation brush sometimes can. Unfortunately, it doesnt get into the corners of your face, e.i. the side of your nose, as well as the foundation brush, but that is such a minor point. This brush is amazing!!

Powder Brush

This brush is the largest brush at the back on the right. I wasn't too amazed with this brush, which is sad as I was expecting great things. I just find that the bristles are very close together and so it doesn't feel as nice on my face, compared to my Clinique powder brush which is amazing. I'm not saying this isn't good but if you want to get the most from your money, i would recommend buying a clinique one!

Blush Brush

This brush is the one with the pink handle. Its great it really is. This brush distributes the blush evenly on my face and helps to put it in the right place! Its hard to do your blush badly with this brush, believe me! I honestly totally recommend this brush, very highly! Its great.

So there you have it! Real techniques do a variety of great brushes at a good price too! Unfortunately, there's no way to feel the brush first before you buy it which is always a down side as I do this to test them first, as it were. These are super easy to get hold of at boots and I really so think you should give them a go!

Balance Me - Pure Skin Face Wash - Review

I got this tube of face wash in a magazine not too long ago. I tried it out and at first I hated it because of the smell. It wasn't an unpleasant smell, it just wasn't to my tastes.
A couple of weeks ago I gave it another chance and it is now my number one go to face wash! I tend to use this after I've used my face wipes as i find that it just gets rid of any makeup that the wipes may have left behind, and I also use it in the mornings just to go rid of any oil that may collect on my face during the nice. Plus, you only needs the tiniest amount as it foams up amazingly! This wash leaves my face in the perfect condition and ready for my moisturizer and then make up!
Honestly if you want a face wash, buy this one!

Nars - Amour Blush Review

This beauty is the most recent addition to my make up collection. I bought it when I went shopping a couple of weeks ago with my mum. To be honest, I had no idea what blush I wanted, I just wanted a nice blush that suited my skin tone. First we went to the Bobbi Brown counter and I found the most perfect blush in the colour Tawney but unfortunately they didn't have the blusher in stock. After looking around for a little longer I found a Nars counter day lit up!! What suprised me is that this counter didnt sell the Orgasm blush but that didn't matter as the Amour blush suited my skin tone so well!

This blush is so pigmented, one swipe puts loads of powder onto the brush and you really have to tap it off really well other wise you'll end up with a bright pink line. I like to apply this to the apple of my cheeks and then up to my hair line very lightly just so that it gives my complexion a nice glow of colour. Believe my when I say that this is the best blush I have ever tried and at £21 it is so good for its money!

Nivea vs Baby Lips

There has been such a hype about the new Maybelline Baby Lips lip balms and so I decided to get one of those. I then had a little look around Boots and found the new Nivea Honey and Milk lip balm. I couldn't decide which one to get so I got both. Why not!
My verdict? I prefer the Baby Lips lip balm. Although both are very hydrating, I just find that the baby Lips slides on easier. Its also has a nicer, fruitier smell. The packaging of Baby Lips is also a lot nicer! The only downside about Baby Lips is that it is quite expensive for a lip balm! Both are great but the baby lips is so much nicer by far!!
This will definitely be going in my bag for school! What about you? What's your favourite Lip Balm?

Bourjois - Little Round Pot Blush

It seems such a shame to start a brand new blog with a negative review, but it had to be done! Recently I bought this small, cute little Bourjous Blush pot, in the shade Rose Frission. At first I loved it, it was a sweet colour, the packaging was amazing and it smelt lush...but it wasn't pigmented, at all. I could rub this on my face and hardly anything would come off! I must say, I was so disappointed!!! I really wouldn't recommend this blush, no matter have pretty it looks!!
